Afternoon Lecture: Arctic Plants of Svalbard by Paul Fitters

May 23 @ 3.00pm - 4.00pm

Svalbard is a Norwegian archipelago between mainland Norway and the North Pole. One of the world’s northernmost inhabited areas, it’s known for its rugged, remote terrain of glaciers and frozen tundra sheltering polar bears, Svalbard reindeer and Arctic foxes. The main focus of this talk however, will be on the arctic plants of the archipelago.

Join us for this free lecture on Thursday May 23rd at 3:00pm.
