Lecture: Hanging up the Hosepipe – Creating a Dry Garden

The Dry Garden is something we have all experienced at some time – especially this year. We cannot water the whole garden so how do we cope and create areas of interest that can survive dry conditions?

With decades of hands-on horticultural experience, Paul and Sharron Cutler have shaped gardens across the UK and Ireland. Paul Cutler, with experience at RHS Wisley and Cromell’s Fort Estate, became Head Gardener at Altamont Gardens. Sharron Cutler, who grew up immersed in the world of gardening, became a professional gardener known for her vibrant, colour-themed borders and for mentoring young gardeners. Paul and Sharron Cutler retired in 2024 after a lifetime dedicated to plants and people.
