Join us for a tour of the National Botanic Gardens at Glasnevin during the Famine years, taking in exotic imports, orchid innovations, symphonies in iron and glass – and the discovery of potato blight.
Given the significance of the 20th of August and the discovery of the blight, the guided tour will then be followed by a visit to the library where participants can view literature of the period related to the famine.
Booking is essential on Eventbrite.
