Themed Tour: Pollinators’ Paradise

What do bees, bats, birds, lizards & humans all have in common? They are linked through the phenomenon of pollination, plants using animals to carry their pollen from flower to flower, giving rise to new plants, for a price. Join us to uncover the heroes, tricksters and villains of the world of pollination.

Themed Tour: A Natural History – 100 Years of Biodiversity Discovery in Ireland
Thurs 22nd & Sat 24th May @ 2pm

Join botanist Darren Reidy for a celebration of Biodiversity Week & the Centenary of The Irish Naturalists’ Journal. Visiting some of the most important specimens in our herbarium & living collections, we will discover some of Ireland’s rarest plants; chart the spread of prolific invasive species & learn what the future holds for our biodiversity.
