The pine trees of the Botanic Gardens have stood by us all winter long with their Olive green needles and peach coloured scaled bark, promising us that spring would arrive, now that it has we find that other plants grow comfortably beneath their boughs.
So why not join us, for this early spring tour as we look at a selection of these needle trees and the flowering plants beneath and walk with us this April in the shadow of pines?

Where to Meet
Meet in front of the Visitor Centre, outside the Café. Your guide, wearing an identifiable name badge, will meet you there.
