Join us for Halloween at Glasnevin 2023 for some very special spooky events!

Get ready for lots of plant based thrills this Halloween, starting with our Harvest Display from Friday 13th October until Sunday 5th November. This fabulously designed display will showcase not only the diversity of pumpkins, squash and gourds that can be grown in our climate but also kale, beans, corns, crab apples, quince and other seasonal fruit.

Drop-off day for the Decorated Vegetable Competition is Saturday 21st October 11am – 4pm, at the Teak House with your application form. All the entries will be on display in the Teak House until Sunday the 6th October, freshness permitting.

Sunday the 22nd is our big Halloween at Glasnevin day kicking off at 12pm with the Decorated Vegetable Competition prize giving! Join us for Magical Plants in the Witches Garden. Come in your best Halloween costumes and play outdoor puzzles and games with Maths Week Ireland.

The Witches Garden will also be in full swing from Sunday 29th October to Wednesday 1st November with Magical Plants where you can discover all about some real life weird and wonderful plants. These are drop-by events for families, from 11am-12pm each day. No need to book, first come first served.

Magical Plants for schools will run from Monday 23rd October – Friday 27th October. Booking essential on 01 857 0909.

Our Halloween special themed tour is Magic, Murder and Monkshood every day from Wednesday 25th October to Wednesday 1st November at 3pm. Booking is on
