Séamus recounts his Spring visit to Sikkim, Himalaya in 2015 retracing the routes of the famous Victorian botanist and explorer Sir Joseph Dalton Hooker. In early April, the Gardens at Kilmacurragh are marked by the splendour of their two centuries old Rhododendron collection bursting into flower. This year, the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland and the Office of Public Works are delighted to present a Rhododendron Festival, in collaboration with the RHS Rhododendron, Camellia & Magnolia Group.
