The 61st Meeting of the Ecological Genetics Group (EGG) will be held at the National Botanic Gardens of Ireland between the 4th and 6th of April, 2017. This will be the first time that EGG has been held outside the UK, and we look forward to welcoming them to Dublin.

The EGG conference gathers together researchers and practitioners interested in utilising genetics to increase our understanding of ecology. The keynote seminar will be presented by Prof Sean Graham (Department of Botany at the University of British Columbia), and Prof Ian Montgomery (Queen’s University Belfast) will present an overview of our knowledge of the effects of the glaciation on the flora and fauna of Ireland.
