Bonsai is the Japanese art of growing and shaping miniature trees in containers. By pruning, repotting and general ingenuity, a small tree can be made to look like a natural giant hundreds of years old.

Andrew Murray has been cultivating Bonsai Trees for the past 20 years.

For the past 3 years he has shared his amazing collection with visitors to the Gardens in spring.

This year we are delighted to have Andy and his trees with us until the 23rd April.

Come and enjoy these marvels as they open their new leaves, blossom and come into their summer glory,
