A City and its Gardens

The work of Tommy Clancy, professional photographer and graduate of DIT, has appeared in all of the Irish National Newspapers, as well as in many foreign publications, including Newsday, New York, Libération, Paris and the London Times, to name but a few. Tommy also has a background of many years in the graphics business.

His first love, however, is black and white landscape and streetscape photography. The current collection captures the richness and timeless charm of Dublin's Botanic Gardens, with images that go beyond the mere representational, taking the beauty of the everyday to the level of the abstract and the imaginative.

The exhibition runs from Friday the 19th until the 31st of August at the National Botanic Gardens, Glasnevin.
