'Transformations' - West Cork Craft & Design Guild

In celebration of 2011, The Year of Craft, the National Botanic Gardens is proud to host ‘Transformations’, an exhibition by the West Cork Craft & Design Guild.

Since 1996, members of the West Cork Craft & Design Guild have been producing inspiring crafts to an exceptionally high standard. They work in a wide range of craft disciplines including ceramics, knife making, woodturning, bookbinding, jewellery, textiles and woodwork. ‘Transformations’ focuses on the design, skill and craftsmanship behind the making of the individual pieces inspired by the colour, texture and beauty of the West Cork landscape.

Wednesday May 4th until Sunday June 12th. Open daily in the Gallery Space, National Botanic Gardens Visitor Centre
