The entire garden is mapped and these are presented as Adobe (pdf) documents. Each document gives the scientific names of plants and maps their position. For those wishing to know more about the individual plant (provenance etc.), we hold records through the accession number attached to each plant - these are a vital tool in linking the documentation with the plant. | |

There are a two ways in which you can access the living collections catalogue. Either through locations, which give a complete map or list of plants in a particular area of the garden, or via the name of a plant. Searching via the Interactive Map (right) allows individual lawns, shrubberies and borders to be browsed: simply click on the areas you are interested in (green arrows), allowing you to 'zoom' in to a particular area. Clicking around the edges of the map (orange arrows) allows you to move to adjacent parts of the gardens. Clicking on the small locator map allows you to return (yellow arrow) to the Master map. Alternatively, to find a particular species or cultivar, you can use the individual indexes below: Annual & bedding plant displays |
