Smiddy, P., 1986, Senecio viscosus L. in the Cork flora., Irish Naturalists' J., 22 p.39 Senecio viscosus was known from Cork city in the first half of the nineteenth century, but later became extinct. In July 1985 it was found growing plentifully at the disused railway station at Killeagh. Later it was found to be quite common about railway installations in the southern part of E. Cork.
